Scotland the Brave - Frequently heard on bagpipes. This arrangement is by James Raitt (son of Broadway singer John Raitt of the original "Oklahoma" cast and brother of Bonnie Raitt). It is the only accapella number from the show, "Forever Plaid", The arrangement was given to the Brothers to sing to George Bush Sr. when he was president. Both George and the Brothers are big fans of "Forever Plaid". Clarke singes lead for this and other songs unless otherwise noted.

When Irish Eyes are Smiling - The music was written in 1912 by Earnest R. Ball with the famous lyricist Chauncey Alcott and George Graff Jr. This arrangement was created by Jack Baird in 1990.

Danny Boy - The famous barbershop arranger, Ed Waesche, developed this version in 1993. Darrell Parsons sings the lead.

The Lass of Aughrin - This folk song made famous when sung by Irish tenor Frank Patterson in the movie, "The Dead" is sung here by Darrell Parsons, with Clarke Maylone on piano.

How Are Things in Glocca Morra? - One of our favorite arrangements, this song was written in 1946, with music by Burton Lane and lyrics by E. Yip Harburg for the musical "Finian's Rainbow". Yip also did the lyrics for "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". This arrangement was performed in 1969 by Gene Cokeroft, a member of the legendary quartet, The Suntones, who appeared regularly on the Jackie Gleason show in the 1960's. By the way you can't find Glocca Mora on the map of Ireland -- it only exists in the musical.

My Wild Irish Rose - This simple song was written in 1899. Music and lyrics are by Chauncey Olcott. The arrangement was developed in 1959 by Floyd Connett. To paraphrase Woody Herman, it lives well in its basic form because it was right to begin with.

Mother Machree - "Machree" is an Irish term for "beloved" and the song fits this sentiment. The music is by Chauncey Olcott and Earnest R. Ball. Lyrics written in 1910 are by Rida Johnson Young. This is another Suntones arrangement that was transcribed by Paul Bowen for the Raleigh Barbershop chorus. Darrel Parsons sings lead.

Irish Blessing - This famous blessing, put to music by Cincinnati-based arranger, Don Gray, is one of our most requested numbers.

The Rose of Tralee - With music by Charles W. Glover and lyrics by C. Mordaunt Spencer [1912], this arrangement was written in 1959 by Floyd Connett. Darrell again sings lead.

Lida Rose/Will I Ever Tell You - Lida Rose is one of the most popular barbershop songs ever written. In "The Music Man, it is done together with the soprano song, "Will I Ever Tell You", here sung by Beverley Benda. Robert Bunning plays the piano.

Sincere - A less well known, but great number from Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man".

It's You - The third and final quartet number from "The Music Man". Wilson wrote the music and lyrics. Wilson and Frank Lacey wrote the book in 1959.

That's an Irish Lullaby [Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral] - Lyrics and music are by J. R. Shannon [1913]. This great arrangement, also by Ed Waesche, was authored in 1989. We first heard it done by the International Quartet Champions, "Acoustix".

The Story of the Brothers Flanagan - Written and narrated by Clarke Maylone. Tis a touchin' story an' sich blarney!
